In 2008, Yuri designed this as a place where our senses come alive. But she was waiting for the right time. after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake-tsunami, she found inspiration and started the project. she wanted to make it for Japan as symbol of gratitude. Every ounce of body worked for this. she use the name "Shinpu" which means fresh breeze --- we can always start over. she believe that this tea house is one of those places.
